NatWest’s bold move to ditch desk phones required top-tier mobile coverage across its expansive HQ. Staff needed reliable signals for calls, emails, and collaboration; whether in offices, meeting rooms, or shifting to remote work. Weak spots could disrupt banking operations, delay client responses, or derail the cost-saving strategy that hinged on mobile reliability.Solution:
Deployed on May 29, 2018, Zinwave’s Active DAS links to EE and O2 3-sector base stations, with maintenance overseen by a long-standing industry partner,ensuring long-term performance. Supporting EE and O2 signals, it integrates seamlessly with NatWest’s partnerships, like EE for SIMs and Computacenter for devices; creating a robust, multi-operator ecosystem tailored to a mobile-first workplace.Results:
The DAS delivers consistent connectivity, enabling staff to work efficiently across Gogarburn’s campus. During Covid-19 in 2020, it supported a seamless pivot to remote work as EE and Computacenter supplied thousands of SIMs and devices, maintaining business continuity.
