Wilson Connectivity Opens New Manufacturing Facility In St. George, Utah

August 11, 2025

After more than three years of logistics, planning, and a year of construction, Wilson Connectivity proudly opened its new 90,000 square-foot manufacturing facility in St. George, Utah.

Construction broke ground in April of 2024 with visions of consolidating the Wilson teams onto a single campus. The new facility brings together teams and assembly lines from multiple fractured buildings, housing 150 employees dedicated to producing Wilson’s innovative Private 5G+ and Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS).

“Putting everyone in the same building allows our warehouse and manufacturing operations to find efficiencies and allow for better in-office collaboration,” said Jonathan Field, General Manager of weBoost.

The previous facility was three separate buildings, plus a third-party warehouse that stored inventory, explained Field.

The expansion allows Wilson to increase manufacturing capabilities and continue to onshore technical Surface Mount Technology (SMT) manufacturing jobs, while fostering more effective innovation and providing room for future acquisitions.

"This new facility represents more than just expansion—it's about our commitment to American manufacturing and our investment in the talented workforce of Utah," said Bruce Lancaster, CEO of Wilson Connectivity.

"By establishing this state-of-the-art manufacturing operation in St. George, we're strengthening our ability to deliver the cutting-edge connectivity solutions that businesses need to thrive in an increasingly connected world."

Wilson Connectivity is the originator of cell signal amplification technology, debuting in the late 1980s and invented out of necessity. Back then, St. George resident Jim Wilson was simply trying to improve the signal on his new cell phone. Now, after three decades and 200+ patents, the new building is the latest milestone for Wilson Connectivity.
