Reliable connectivity for large buildings & high-demand environments

Eliminating connectivity gaps for enterprises with Active DAS

Simplifying 5G for maximum coverage

WilsonPro Active DAS uses the fewest components to cover the most bands in any environment, capturing more cellular signal to amplify and distribute where it’s needed most.

Amplifying better signal everywhere

WilsonPro Active DAS system amplifies and distributes a direct network quality signal for the greatest coverage, capacity, and quality throughout your entire footprint.

Providing trusted and secure connectivity

A direct wired connection with a signal source and radio frequency (RF) over fiber handles your network’s data and device needs and is better resistant to interception.

Building a future-proof architecture

Wilson Connectivity’s modular, open design allows your business to easily add new bands and new tech as needs grow.

Unlock the benefits of Wilson Connectivity Active Distributed Antenna System

  • Best for buildings over 500K square feet.
  • Uses signal from any direct radio frequency (RF) source including carrier base, femtocell, small cell, BDA, private networks.
  • Delivers RF from 150 MHz to 6GHz, including all MNO & with carriers & public safety bands and two-way radio capabilities, and future technologies on a single hardware layer.
  • Accommodates future changes in frequency bands or new services without requiring significant system overhauls.

The Enterprise Advantage with Wilson Connectivity Active DAS

Outside Signal

Outside Signal

Active DAS uses signal from any direct radio frequency (RF) source to feed into a primary hub.

Amplification

Amplification

Amplified signals are sent through fiber to secondary hubs and up to 64 remote units per primary hub.

Indoor Experience

Indoor Experience

Amplified signals are distributed through inside antennas. Direct radio frequency (RF) source and RF over fiber enable secure signal distribution at critical scale.

FAQ about Wilson Connectivity Active DAS

  • What is a DAS system?

A distributed antenna system (DAS) is a network of antennas connected to a common signal source to optimize cellular signals for in-building wireless connectivity. A DAS enhances cellular connectivity in areas with poor signal strength in buildings.
  • What’s the difference between a Passive, Active and Hybrid system?

The difference between a passive BDA is in the collection and distribution of cell signals.
In a passive DAS solution, the signal is collected from outside signals and distributed by coax cable.
In an active DAS solution, a signal is generated through a direct connection to a signal source, (i.e. base station, small cell, femtocell, or private network) and fiber optics are leveraged for greater coverage and signal quality.
A Hybrid DAS solution collects signal from an outside signal source and uses fiber optics for coverage and quality.
